Welcome to the Weekly Informer

Good Afternoon and welcome, everyone. This is the Weekly Informer: your source for all the news you need to know, when you need to know it. We provide the facts, the opinions, and the stage for the clashing of the two. First, a little bit of background information. I used to do broadcasting for my high school's forensics team. I loved it so much, that I decided to carry on the whole bit by starting a blog, podcast, and tv show on the local public access channel. Right now I have the blog under construction, and the others will be available within the next couple of weeks. This post won't contain a lot of news, since it is our first one. Keeping with tradition, I am saving the first post as more of a welcome to new readers on the Internet or an opening statement, to show what we'll have in store for you in the future. Today is mostly just for me to get back into the habit of updating a blog daily, since I stopped doing this after a couple years. I will be reporting primarily from my brand new MacBook that I have bought for college. For those of you who were expecting a review, all I can say is this thing gets a 4.8 out of 5 from me. Besides the heat issues, I haven't had a hitch with this laptop. It is the best money I have ever spent, I can tell you that much. I highly recommend it. Before I go, we'll have a quick look at the weather for my local area: Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. Storms throughout the day, high of 80F. That's all the time we have for today. Thanks for checking us out. For the Weekly Informer, I'm Ben Barker; Have a nice day.
